I was eating some chicken chowmein outside the restaurant and the wind picked up and dust was blowing everywhere. The sky had been grey all day and I thought that it might rain earlier, but mother nature waited until the night, so that she could display her lightning to us all. It started to rain huge droplets so I grabbed my food to go and ran home, which took less than 2 minutes, but by this time, our roof was flooded with and inch or two of rain. Even though the lightening was striking very close, it was mostly in the clouds so I decided to grab my camera and stand out under our balcony and continuously take long exposure shots of the clouds. I snagged a few good ones, please enjoy. The neighbors were inspired enough to shoot off fire works, but i couldnt get any firework/lightning shots together. maybe next time.
